Within the Botlek Study Group, Richard Holtkamp of Ankersmid Process BV, as of January 1, 2017, has been a coordinator for the instrumentation branch. Bram Luiten of Multi Instruments has reached retirement age and has handed over the baton to Richard Holtkamp. The organization of the Botlek Study Group now consists of Dick van Beest (Gain Automatisering), Aldert Schollaardt (Endress and Hauser) and Richard Holtkamp.
Because experience shows that a three-person coordinatorship is very pleasant to organize all meetings and to have a guarantee for a good program, this interpretation is a welcome addition. During the upcoming meetings of the Botlek Study Group, there will be ample opportunity to further become acquainted with Richard Holtkamp. For registrations of presentations of instrumentation topics that may be of interest to the Study Group, we request that you submit these to
botlekstudiegroep@gain.nl, after which Richard Holtkamp will approach you to discuss them.
The Botlek Study Group is a group of measurement and control technicians working for (industrial) end users, engineering firms, installers, system integrators and suppliers of equipment and systems. The group was founded in 1968 and is still a success.
The objective of the group is to increase the knowledge of its members by giving lectures. During six evenings a year, various topics are discussed, ranging from instrumentation and automation technology to various related aspects such as design, assembly and laws and regulations. It is important that the lectures have a strong relationship with practical experience.
